It shows a blazing inferno that completely gutted a steel framed building without so much as a creak, against a much less intense fire that managed to drop a 47 storey building at almost freefall speed.

I note with some sadness that it took you less than 20 minutes to move this post to the fringe, whereas some posts where one of your moderators described all Palestinians as rabid dogs and said they hoped that Israel wiped them off the face of the earth, stayed on the front page of the open newswire for *DAYS*

I have to ask the question Mick, do you see protecting your readers from anything that questions the official narrative of 9/11 as being more important than protecting them from openly racist views?

Why is it you are so quick to move 9/11 posts to the fringe? You clearly didn't have time to watch the videos, digest the comments and make an informed decision. Even if you (as you have indicated) have made up your mind about the events of 9/11, why exactly is it that you are so quick to stop other people from making up their minds (or deciding how much credence they should give it by essentially putting it in the bin with the looney posts about space aliens and area 51?).

There are a lot of informed and intelligent people who don't buy some or all of the official story, why is it that you see fit to hide these views (or at least discredit them)? If they are clearly so crazy then why not let people judge for themselves? If you take the time to go watch the video of that fire you will see what is crazy is believing that WTC7 came down from fire alone!

You leave NWO posts on the front page, something I think you can agree is a conspiracy theory on a much grander scale than that posited by 9/11 activists. So it appears that you don't have a problem with conspiracy theories per se, just this particular one.

Here's what I suggest you do.. sign up (it only takes an email address) log into the editorial board and READ.

If you can't be bothered to do that much then I can't be bothered to explain how the site/editorial board works. Everything you want to know is on this site you just have to read it.

In short: 9/11 is non news. This is a new site.

If you see racism please use the report button on each post. The mods can't see/read everything posted here.

I noticed the complete apathy about the racist comments and the fact that there was no censure whatsoever for your moderator who put those posts in question.

I would be interested to know if you viewed the videos, read the comments and thought about it before binning this. As for the 'news site' argument that is bollocks imo sorry mate, this fire took place yesterday! The building is of a similar construction to WTC7 and it burned until completely gutted and much more intensely than WTC7. There were no visible structural deformities witnessed in the blazing inferno one, the 'camp fire' one crashed to the ground at almost freefall speed! This is news because it is yet more proof that the WTC7 story was a lie. By your argument if Bush fessed up and said 'yeah we did 9/11', you wouldn't cover it because it's not news? Crap argument I reckon.

The mod who made racist comments is no longer a mod. We can't control time and prevent him from making them, we can only make sure that he cannot post them here again.

You're right, the fire itself is news but connecting it to 9/11? Nah. Mods can move stuff around wherever they like on here, if one mod thinks it's news they can move it back into the front page. The forum is controlled by the people who use it, not random anonymous posters who appear to have a chip on their shoulder.

If you do actually want a say in how the site is run you're more than welcome to get involved as a member and state your case but right now there's far more important things going on in the world than 9/11 conspiracy theories. Failing that, maybe this isn't the forum for you.
