Cashless system is now on the cards
Once considered as nothing more than "conspiracy theory" could a cashless society be the aim for the "New Economic World Order" only just recently spoken of by Politicians such Gordon Brown?
BARRY Langton is 71 and has paid bills with cash his whole life.
So, you can imagine his surprise when a retail worker told him, “We don't accept cash.”
Mr Langton was paying a bill for a family member at the Grand Central Medibank Private retail centre on Monday.
He couldn't believe it when the staff member told him his cash was no good.
“I thought the Aussie dollar was bad, but I didn't think it was that bad,” Mr Langton joked yesterday.
“I just couldn't believe it.
“I've never had any trouble with cash in my whole life, not even in countries overseas.”
Mr Langton's wife Norma said she always thought cash was the best option.
“Not everyone has a card these days,” she said.
“It's a bit tough when they don't want your cash.”
Medibank Private Queensland State manager John Rossdale said the decision to remove cash from the retail centres was based on a huge reduction in demand for the service.
“The vast majority of member transactions is conducted via electronic and telephone banking,” he said.
“In saying that, we do understand that some of our members prefer to pay bills by cash and we have set up an arrangement with Australia Post.
Mr Rossdale said members could pay their premiums with cash at any Australia Post office. They just need to take their renewal notice.

While on the subject of a cashless society, can anybody think of any advantages of a cashless society............for the governing system.

They want to record every transaction
They can control every aspect of our lives - that is why they need to do away with cash & Bartering.
And thee is no clear benefit for us - just them.

A less-cash society is completely accessible to governments in that the information of each asset(person) is essentially on line all the time and at the control of said governments. Nothing would be hidden. Account activities, all purchases, movements...as in through tollways and such, every time fuel is purchased, etc would be seen.
The craziest issue about the proposed system, not that it hasn't been discussed for nearly a decade within the circles I run, is that it is in the Bible. Like it or not, it is written.
The whole system began as barter, then onto some form of currency-gold, silver, etc. Then somebody got greedy and figured out how to manipulate a simple system for their own twisted means. The planting of the first seed.
As time progressed, the currencies changed from prescious metals and the such, to some form of colored paper or, non-valuable metal coinage.
Up jumps the creation of the checking account. Another piece of paper, with the same purchasing power as cash but, now instead of carrying ten $1 bills and three $5 bills, and then having to rely on your math and the seller's math, when making a purchase, all that was needed was a hand written statement of payment, through your bank. The planting of the second seed.
Cash/coins and now checks have killed the idea of trading. But, off in the distance, there is a growing need to accelerate business transactions. And, it has to be safer and increasingly reliable. Alas, the creation of the plastic form of cash and checks(dum dum dum....) the credit card. It's easier to carry, just one little card compared to loads of cash or a thick book in your back pocket. Transactions are, in those days, considered instantaneous compared to other payment methods. Tally, carbon swipe, sign, out the door. Ahh, the convenience. The planting of the third seed.
Advancements in technology, acts of violent crimes-in the form of thefts, and an increasingly impatient and ignorant populace created the demand for the next stage of plastic. The credit/debit card. Same great qualities of credit but, now with the option to pay by bank debit. The old carbon paper swipe types are faded out and can now be found in some museums. The planting of the fourth seed.
BOOOM!! The introduction of the gift card. Ain't it sweet? Sure, you have to charge the card but, it still serves a purpose. It tells the world, "Look at how fast you can buy things with plastic. Just one little device. Use me." There are a couple of funny details about gift cards though. First, when they are initially charged, it costs the buyer whatever the amount he/she desires charged. Then, when it is used it gets charged taxes on the purchase(s). So, if you buy it for $10, the recipient ends up spending some $11 to $12. And then you have to consider that if you only use $7.95 worth, the remaining amount is generally useless. Gotcha!!! The planting of the fifth seed.
So here we are. The creation of the microscopic chip, capable of being implanted under human skin. Capable of tracking all information of its holder, all that is needed is the chip's implementation. However, many are opposed to its use. Not because of its moral ramifications but, because it's a new technology and not enough has been done to prove it is a viable tool in the step toward creating a paperless way of life. Ergo, the PET device is waged on pet owners and farmers, under false pretense, to prove their value to the consumer. The planting of the sixth seed.
Over the past ten years I have seen press releases, news segments, veterinarian endorsements, television commercials and so on, that are being utilized to convince an unthinking public that cash and checks are too slow and of an antique nature(Visa has several commercials depicting this). I've also seen ads implicating such devices, as implanted chips, to be a means of catching "would be" thieves. For instance, some time in the late 90's, IBM released a commercial that, upon initial viewing, would elude to a common street thug stealing items off of a shelf in a small retail shop. It is true that he was stealing. What was not conveyed, however, is as he turned to leave the store, he was approached by a man,(presumably the manager) whom said, "Excuse me sir. You forgot your receipt."
The commercial ends, the screen goes black and then a caption comes across that reads,
"Think it can't happen? Think again." And then the IBM logo ends the ad.
Basicly, what that commercial is stating is that the "supposed" thief had some form of purchasing/account monitoring system on his person. As he passed through the airport style checkpoint(door), he was surprised by the manager's approach and passing of his receipt.
To the sheep, that opened a whole new thought process of how incredibly easy it would be when, that system-whatever it might be, is brought to the use of the general public. It would allow you to go to any retailer, place your selections in your basket, bag them and then carelessly proceed through the exits. No cashiers, no human interaction. In and out and back home in a matter of minutes. That system is the beast system. It is the implantable chip. It is the catalyst which will divide brother against brother and will ultimately condemn countless millions to Hades, as explained in scripture. It is the end.
Of course, there are other systems in place that contribute to a relaxed acceptability of such a system, such as: EZ tags for tollways. (The day will come when full service will no longer be offered. Get the pass or don't pass at all. )
The implementation of self checkouts at retail and grocery outlets. (It begins the desensitization of not having a human interface, as well as creates the greater demand to use a cashless system.)
The implementation of the speedpass, by Exxon/Mobil and certain other retailers and grocers. (It's a smaller version of a card but, does not need swiping. Just a simple "WAVE" of the hand and you're done.) A wave of the hand. Let's paraphrase Revelation 13 to get a closer look at why this technology is so important.
...and that no man, rich or poor, free or bond shall buy, sell or trade lest he have the mark of the beast, or the number of its name, on his hand or in his head...
Why in his head? Because, once the system is in place, a lot of people will be losing their hands to those that choose not to take the chip, in an effort to purchase on the name of their victims. Therefore, there will be a move, of the chip, from the forehand to the forehead. You can't just walk around town holding someone's head in your hand now can you?
These are just to name a couple.

It also determines who does any business at all. Here you are unemployed/sick human: hold out your palm and scan. But it won't end there because MAFIA GANGS WILL CHOP OFF YOUR HAND OR KIDNAP YOU IN ORDER TO USE YOUR BAR CODE/CHIP ACCOUNT. If they buy the guns, it's YOU who have that on your record. It's on the DATABASE. But now you won't be able to give your neighbour a tenner will you? When my Vicar finds out about this there will be hell to pay!

I forgot to mention, did anyone mention the DNA account? That will be the final goal after the chip has been found to be hackable. But Jonathan Westhues got there first and I'm sure that you will be able to use a DNA READER to update an account and database and GPS. Reading your DNA signature with tracking tools and modifying it electromagnetically (remotely) or by drugs will be so deadly that it will have to be stopped. The technology is already here, waiting in the shadows. When they have your DNA, they have YOU.

Great reply 07:43 PM.
I will just quickly add a couple of other things that might be advantageous to those that might want to initiate a cashless society.
How about working disputes? Say for instance you and your fellow workmates decided you were mistreated, the normal action would be to call a meeting and then you might call a strike, but if you had no cash and everything was electronically logged, and the corporation you were working for decided to cancel your payments, then how would you be able to survive the strike without cash?
Or, what if you were a sticky fingered little thieving bastard, how would you trade your stolen goods if there was no cash, drugs? What would the drug dealer exchange the stolen goods for that he had just replaced with his drugs?
It seems to me that in a cashless society we would be in a complete bind, beholden to the corporations that put the food in our mouths, in other words we would become slaves, is that what we want.............do we really want a cashless society where we do not have the power to wheel and deal at our own leisure, it is not for me, of that I am certain, but what can we do about it?
I don't know about you and you can call me old fashioned if you like, but I used to like lining upon a Friday and getting my wages in a brown envelope then moaning like fuck because I was missing a days wages after skipping a Monday due to a hangover, but then repeating the whole thing over again by heading straight to the pubs in Edinburgh's Leith Walk and on to a rock concert at the playhouse before ending up skint again, ah the good old days.
We should never have allowed our wages to be put into the banks in the first place.
So that is my rant over, are there any positives?

Nigeria moves towards a cashless society
By Victor Emeruwa
The government of Nigeria has directed all ministries and government establishment to adopt e-payment system for government transactions, which include contract payment, workers salaries and all forms of cash and check payment transactions will now be replaced with e-payment system. The new payment system is to take immediate effect.
Nigeria’s Accountant General of the Federation, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo says the introduction of e-payment is aimed at eliminating payment bureaucracy associated with handling cash transfers and check payments. Dankwambo also noted that this development will strengthen the efficiency of doing business with the government and also help to check corruption.
Initial challenges of coping with the new system are being reported across the country, government workers are skeptical about the new payment system. “We can agree with the movement towards this global trend but how can you operate this system without constant power supply” asks Seun Adefioye, a civil servant based in Abuja. Adefioye’s fear is just one out of a handle full of skeptics’ that greeted the adopted payment system.
“I was at the Bank with my wife to cash her salaries, they told us the systems were down, we were advised to check back, we returned to the Bank six hours later and the problems had not been rectified. As I speak with you its three days now and I cannot still cash the money” Theophilus Abah, another concerned Nigeria said.
The Accountant General of the Federation has expressed hope in that the system has come to stay and everything that will make it work will be sorted out soon.
Nigeria is also advancing in strengthening other areas of the global electronic system through government owned private Information Communication Technology and Management Company, Galaxy Backbone which has introduced e-governance, e-community, e-education and e-healthcare on its internet broadband.

There are no positives with this system. Unless, of course, you are one of the world's sheep that desperately seeks the hand of his government and the approval of his peers. But alas, my friends, you are not. You are educated on the perils that await, not only those whom accept this lifestyle but, also of those whom do not. Therefore, there are no positives with the system itself. Only knowledge of what is to come is a positive.
Acceptance allows hot showers at the end of the day and a warm bed to sleep in.
Denial leads to bathing in a creek and sleeping under the stars-climates unknown.
Acceptance allows for your patronage to your favorite pubs and other venues.
Denial guarantees dehydration from a lack of adequate water supplies.
Acceptance keeps the wealthy-wealthy.(Remember, there will be no more middle class)
Denial ensures complete unimaginable poverty.
Acceptance is denial of concentration/extermination camps.
Denial is acceptance of concentration/extermination camps.
Acceptance leads to total control and condemnation-if you should believe in scripture.
Denial contributes to the saving grace one might need at his end.
Keep your head up. You are not alone.
