Default Malki: Hamas trying to influence election with ROCKET ATTACKS

Hamas is still attacking Israel, as usual....

By ASSOCIATED PRESS
WARSAW, Poland

"Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Malki accused Hamas on Monday of trying to influence the outcome of this week's Israeli election, pointing to the continued Palestinian rocket attacks on southern Israel.

Malki said, "Hamas wants instability in the region" and suggested rockets have continued to be launched from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip as "a way to interfere" in the Israeli vote.

Israel carried out a three-week offensive in the Gaza Strip last month in an attempt to halt years (!!!!!) of rocket fire on the South."

Default Palestinian Min: Hamas Doesn't Want Peace Government In Israel

Palestinian Min: Hamas Doesn't Want Peace Government In Israel

Monday February 9th, 2009 / 12h24

A senior Palestinian Authority official said during a visit to Warsaw Monday that recent Hamas rocket attacks on Israel ahead of its general election Tuesday showed Hamas wants to undermine peace efforts in the region.
"Hamas does not want a peace government in Israel to be elected in order to pursue political negotiations with the Palestinian Authority," said Riad Al-Malki, foreign minister with the Palestinian Authority.
"The landing of the two rockets yesterday (Sunday) is a way to interfere in the outcome of the Israeli elections," he said at a joint press conference with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.
"That is why we are worried that such attacks might really interfere negatively during the outcome and might really push Israeli public opinion and the voters to vote for an anti-peace government," he said.

Who are the palestinian national authority?, what position do these people hold in palestine? what right have they to any authority for that matter when the were democratically voted out of power in 2006, at the will of the people.

I fail to see what the PNA actually do, they only hold power in the west bank, which is being systematically destroyed by Israel. Just look at the fucking maps, how can any leader want this happening. Hamas on the other hand are struggling and managing to keep what land they have left in their own hands, in which they were elected by the people to do.

Hamas spend 90% of their budget on social welfare projects, while the PNA watch their own part of palestine waste away. What will happen when the west bank fully dissappears? what will they be in charge of?

"There are no peaceful candidates"

Good! That's the only way Israel will survive. When terrorist group is firing thousands of rockets at you ... you sure don't want some idiot praying for peace in a shrine as protection. lol
