You say that globalisation has not even started yet but what good has it done so far?
are we supposed to expect that suddenly the corporations are going to hand over their wealth to the poorest countries and the starving masses, are Africans all of a sudden going to become better off?
Like the EU all that will happen with globalisation is that power will be taken away from the voters of member states with less say for ordinary people.
Look for example what happened with Ireland and the lisbon treaty, they were allowed the vote but when the vote went against the Lisbon treaty the Irish were expected to vote again until they say yes.
If globalistation meant better things for the people then I might agree to it but all that seems to be happening is western jobs going to countries like china and india, places where the corporations can find cheap labour.
how about a global army? If your country was going through hard times and you wanted to change the situation who would you rather be facing, soldiers from your own country or foreign troops who have no family ties or connection?
As far as I am concerned globalisation just means more power for the few and less for the majority, and all the few are waiting for is the technological means to make life more difficult for us ordinary people to make changes to our lives yet easier for the global elite to control every aspect of our lives.
