Palestine
Will the election of Obama see a change in the US policy in respect of the Palestinian question? Arguably, probably not, thanks to the power and influence of the Jewish lobby in the US, but just perhaps Obama may have the sense to realize that winning the so-called "war against terror" demands that the question of a Palestinian state is resolved as a pre-requisite to ending, or at least reducing, Islamic terrorism.
As things stand at present Israel, and their quasi facist policy towards the Palestinians, is the terrorists No 1 recruiting sergeant.
Once again we see the typical Israeli response to a handful of home-made rockets fired into their territory in desparation by Hamas supporters living in what is stilleffectively occupied territory - yet the US response, by the odious Bush neocons, is to blame the Palestinians! I assume that these same Americans would have blamed the French resistance fighters when they killed their Nazi occupiers during ww2? I think not!
And what about us British? Our government, masquerading as a "labour government" is wholly supine, and in thrall to the US as usual.
So President Elect Obama, are you really willing to take on the vested interests that have governed the US for so long now, and genuinely seek a solution to the problems facing the world, or, like other Democratic Presidents, are you simply going to make sympathetic noises whilst actually continuing to support the status quo ante?

I think the best thing for obama to do is cut their money off and embargo all Israeli products from usa, and supply all the weapons both sides need at a fair profit, they will figure it out.

Well I have high hopes for Obama. I certainly think he will do much better than the Warlord Bush.
Everyone tends to be biased to some degree, for example, above you mention "a handful of home-made rockets". It is certainly more than a handful.
I don't believe in war, but sometimes a group is forced to fight like your French resistance fighters you mentioned. Hamas wants to eliminate Israel, so Israel has no choice but to wipe Hamas out first. Sad, but true.

Don't you love how when a person is justifying evil perpetrated by the side they are representing, they down play the act.
They shot a couple of homemade fireworks across the border, and hit a garbage can maybe.
They forget to tell you the little kid detonated in the village market was severely retarded and only 10. That his parents sold him for 10000 dollars to further the cause.
playing the devils advocate.

Everyone forgets that Islamics routinely blow themselves up to kill others. That really tells you something about them. Barbaric.

The Palestinians need to grow some balls and take back what is theirs, they out number the jew 10 to 1. They spend too much time fighting among themselves, that is why they have only a little land left.
