A new online service called iTriggers.co.uk allows contractors and suppliers to quickly search thousands of latest planning applications and approvals for contract leads on a pay-as-you-go basis. Users simply enter the kind of work they want in the itriggers search box, view matching results and purchase the ones they want. Armed with client detail, they can begin chasing orders on projects from home extensions to major office blocks, roads, hotels and hospitals.

Each week iTriggers refreshes its database with thousands more planning applications and
approvals. And unlike some other services, itriggers.co.uk captures domestic as well as commercial construction plans. That means iTriggers has literally hundreds of home improvement projects for local builders, plus plans for schools, offices and hotels for bigger contractors and suppliers.

Each Trigger lead costs £2.50, but users who register on the site before the end of the month get their first five leads free.

“iTriggers is a real boon at a time when construction is feeling the pinch,” , says company managing director Jerry Gosney, “particularly for smaller and medium-sized contractors. We believe this is the first time that applications for all building projects, from the very big to the very small, will have been gathered together in such an easily searchable database.”

Planning applications represent a decision to invest. And iTriggers provides details on companies and individuals ready to spend on everything from kitchens to car parks early in the project process, when decisions on suppliers and contractors have yet to be made.
Gosney says that itriggers currently covers some 50% of English planning regions, and by the year end will have almost all of the UK covered.

iTriggers isn’t just for builders, almost every commercial project begins with a planning application – even to change an office to hairdressing salon requires planning consent. That means suppliers of a range of equipment, from spas to vending machines, carpets to cookers, locks to laundries can get a regular supply of hot leads from iTriggers.co.uk on a pay-as-you-go basis.
