Default Sex Pistols???

I never really paid any attention to the Sex Pistols years ago. I came in from work today and VH1 was on and the show was featuring the Sex Pistols. The music sounded pretty good. This song caught my attention. I lean toward anarchy.

I will have to find out what the mpla and uda is.

Anarchy in the UK

Right ! now ! ha ha ha ha ha

I am an antichrist
I am an anarchist
Dont know what I want but
I know how to get it
I wanna destroy the passer by cos i

I wanna be anarchy !
No dogs body

Anarchy for the u.k its coming sometime and maybe
I give a wrong time stop a trafic line
Your future dream is a shopping scheme cos i

I wanna be anarchy !
In the city

How many ways to get what you want
I use the best I use the rest
I use the enemy I use anarchy cos i

I wanna be anarchy !
The only way to be !

Is this the m.p.l.a
Or is this the u.d.a
Or is this the i.r.a
I thought it was the u.k or just
Another country
Another council tenancy

I wanna be an anarchist
Oh what a name
Get pissed destroy !

Hi Zing,
I believe this is the information you are looking for.

MPLA
The Mountain Plains Library Association
http://www.mpla.us/

And

UDA
Ultimate Discount Aquatics.
http://www.uda.co.uk/

The Sex Pistols weren't really anything like the were on stage and certainly were not anarchists, in private life the were librarians and tropical fish hobbyists!
I hope that has not blown your bubble?

No not at all. I like librarians and I'm an animal lover too. I only heard that one song, which sounded pretty good. And like I said, I have always found anarchy attractive, so naturally the lyrics caught my attention.

The Sex Pistols in my opinion were one of the most overrated bands in history as far as their musical ability, now what they did for their genre of music is a different story which basically was blow it wide open. The Pistols have been widely accepted as being the originators of Punk Rock which I consider to be a complete falsehood. In all actuality they were a pre-fab band put together by a manager, Malcom McClaren after visiting the states and seeing bands like the Ramones and the Stooges. Their music isn't bad but despite all the hype they still only put out one album of original music. If we want to talk great UK punk bands I don't think they get any better than the Clash, the Buzzcocks or even Stiff Little Fingers.

I'm impressed by your musical knowledge. I revisted your profile and see that music is one of your interests. I'm not familiar enough with the Sex Pistols to really have an opinion, but agree they blew it wide open. I really like the Ramones. Somewhere on the site here is an article on the Clash I believe you might find of interest.

I'm just an old punk rocker who was into the scene way before it became fashionable. It used to be about non-conformity, now I see all these teenagers at the mall, hanging out in front of the Hot Topic with their green hair and various pierced body parts and it makes me weep. Score another one for the large corporations.

Ok Zing,
It is now time to own up as I was only pulling your leg.
Here is the real meaning of the UDA and MPLA.

That was pretty funny! I stand by my statements; I admire librarians and do like animal people. If you ask a good librarian about banning books they will kick you ass right then and there.

I will have to read your wikipedia post.
