Includes issues about genetics and gender effects on the way we cope with medicines and anaesthetics. There will be a session on Coming off medicines and strategies to minimise withdrawal adverse effects. With leading experts including Professor David Healy (SSRI and other antidepressants withdrawal) Professor Heather Ashton (benzodiazepine and Z drugs withdrawal)and Nurse Adam Jhugroo who works with Rufus May (www.comingoff.com).
