Default Larry Silverstein LOST MONEY on 911

Some info for conspiracy theorists. Silverstein was awarded $4.6 billion in insurance money but rebuilding the WTC costs $6.3 billion.

Also, he failed to complete the insurance negotiations before 911. Do you still think he knew it was going to happen?

What about the $3 to 4 billion in low interest - tax exempt liberty bonds he's received since 911?

So lets see, that makes it around 7.6 to 8.6 billion dollars silverstein has recieved officially, unnoficially who knows, and theres another another £3.35 billion in the pot.
That would make it around $1.3 billion to $2.3 billion in extra revenue gathered from the attrocities of 911, if we go by your estimate of $6.3 billion regeneration.

Surely an insurance company would be all over things and if they suspected fowl play they would not pay out.

Think about it sammy,

if the insurance companies admitted that foul play had occured, this would surely have added to the conspiracy theories around 911.

Here are some facts to consider:

Silverstein's initial investment to lease the twin towers occurred in July, 2001.

Quote:
For example, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is expecting to pay about $1 billion for the abatement of just the World Trade Center and LaGuardia Airport. (New York City law requires abatement if renovation work is being done, as it is at these buildings.)
http://www.fumento.com/asbest.html

The article is from 1989. Silverstein was going to have to get rid of the asbestos in both towers and the total cost was probably well over $1 billion. When you factor in all the lost time for those companies who would have to be absent while their floor was being worked on, the total loss in revenue could be upwards of $2 - 3 billion. But since 9/11 magically took care of his asbestos issue, Silverstein saw a net increase in his bottom line immediately.

Silverstein has already admitted that he "pulled" WTC7. That, in and of itself, is demonstration of his attempt to defraud the insurance companies and collect on his insurance claim. Oddly though, no one seems to be in a hurry to indict him for his obvious collusion with the events from that day.

Things that make ya go hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmm............................ .

Dunno. Probably the same reason that we can't get a legal and impartial investigation into 911.
