You should be making it clear to your readers that with the increasing efforts by Governments and others to keep tabs on what you are doing there are some basic ways people can start protecting themselves.
These tools are FREE and I have picked the ones that are easy to use and secure.
Email encryption:
www.privatepost.com
www.hushmail.com
www.gnupgp.com
Disk and file encryption:
www.truecrypt.com
Voice Encryption (VoIP):
www.philzimmerman.com
With all these FREE tools you can, encrypt your emails, disks and voice calls to a standard that cannot be broken by the snoopers (at this time)… the only way to regain some of your privacy is to make your communications secret and keep up to date on all the tools available..
Of course, good firewalls and virus protection are always essential things to use these days.
