Protest Rock: Pokerface - Control Video

Besides producing some of the best music created in a long time, Pokerface carry a strong political message lashing back at the system. Their call for a revolution is an honest one.

Pokerface -The “Houseband of the Second American Revolution” uses there musical skills to educate and awaken the masses to the global threat of the satanic new world order. This video of the song “Kontrol” is a call to put our country back in control of “We the People” and out of the hands of the dumbed down, Big Brother, Police state.

RINF founder Michael Meaney spoke to Pokerface frontman, Paul Topete:

MM:
Hi Pete, the music obviously speaks for itself but I’d just to know a little about your ‘waking up’ process. When did you begin to lift the veil of media, government and corporate corruption?

PT:
It has been constant and thru out my life. Being raised by two Christ loving intellectuals that actually traveled the world each summer, I got to see how the other half of the world lives, so thru my own eyes I saw reality, not the shit that is projected on teebee, and much of what we live life here in the states is what most in the world call a fantasy life.

Quick story I have shared in other interviews, of me at the age of almost 5 years old, in the country of Romania, at a time when it was part of what was called the Iron Curtain, our family had just been served dinner and dessert by this poor Romanian family who we befriended us earlier in the day. After the tasty Rice/raisin pudding I had just eaten , I asked my mom if these nice people could come someday and visit us in the states. And my mom said, “they can’t Paul, their government WONT LET THEM”. So being an American, I was free to travel to Romania back in 1971, but they as Romanians could not do the same… Even as a youngster, that concept of freedom rang loudly in my head, and I considered myself blessed that I was an American.

MM:
Our countries are quickly heading the same way, albeit in less obviously ways. Your call for a revolution is one felt by many, how do you envisage the proccess taking shape, and what do you think the ‘man on the street’ can do to help enforce change?

PT:
Hopefully we could have a reawkening to Freedom at every level of society, that we the sheople finally wake out of our drug induced haze we walk around in daily, and say “we have had enough of the greedy parasites Matrix programming of our daily lives” and we all take charge of our lives and our criminal government. Unfortunately the ballot box is rigged, and trying to reach the masses with the truth is getting harder every day, that it will inevitably lead to a bloody Revolution. It seems that man refuses to learn from his past and we are doomed to repeat the failures there of.

It is the kearnal from which we the people can become part of the economic pie, so that we all take part in the middle class wealth that Father has provided for all of us, if we would just do our part.
