Jackboots and Brown Shirts

It Twas the night before the Federal Canadian Election
And all throughout the land
Not a person was stirring
Not even a Moose
As only the sound of the icy, cold winter wind danced, throughout the terrain
Yet, overtop of the wind
Many people held their breath
While the thought of Jackboots and Brown shirts
Were playing out, in their dreams
For, the next day was going to be important
For, it would seem
However, now people slept
Knowing that soon decisions would have to be made
While the nightmares of placing Canada under the Neo Cons control did plan out
As many saw the box to vote for the Neo Conservatives and their cronies
While the visions of possible future war or possible weapons programs
Did dance before everyone’s eyes
Which would be financed
At a cost of the lost of Universal Health Care or National Day care
All thanks to the Neo Cons, throughout North America
With the thought that “it has all be done before”, planning out in throughout the territory
And the memories, of other dark political tyrants from our past
Who have also used famous five-year plans
Many have to wonder
What other plans are the Neo Conservatives going to borrow
From their allies of long ago, who were Comrade Stalin and Lenin?
How much longer, before the supporter of Neo Cons would turn the Canadian flag to red?
Then in its upper right corner, place the illusion of oppression from the old Soviet Union
Looking into the Conservative’s Party current platform
One would wonder if this platform could possibly be an example of a modern day Communist Manifesto?
Remember from the past, the Communist claimed to be for the workers,
As they claimed to be creating a just and worker’s paradise for all
But, behind the close doors was the true agenda of oppression and darkness
Where anyone, who dared to stand against them was never heard or seen again
Now, it all starting to sound so familiar, as the New Conservatives promise to bring a Higher Moral stance and bring about postive change.
But as the saying goes, “It has all been done before.”

All this is my humble opinion, I realize that others may not share my opinion and I welcome any opposing thoughts.
