Chances are you see them everywhere and till now never paid attention. They are listed as poisonous by the government. While some breads of amanita are this one is not. Psychedelic is probably the better word. Most likely a shaman way back when watched a deer eat some and out of hunger tried some himself. What a surprise that must have been.
