Angus McLeod - Without Justice

There are a few political extremes from the Neo Conservative and groups that claim to be Christians but are not, who do not believe in Freedom of Speech or Free Enterprise. These few would do almost anything to stop a fictional novelist, if they do not want the artist’s work out in the world.

Below are 30% to 40% of the injustices that my wife and I have had to endure since March of 2000, all because this small group of political extremist did not like what I had to say, within my fictional series of novels.

On March 9, 2000, there was a homeless lady who my wife and I were helping out, informed me that this fictional Organization, which I was writing about, would win.

Then March 10, 2000, our car was destroyed by a hit and run, while it was parked across the street from our former home. A member of the police force was able to trace the license plate number that was given by a witness to a different vehicle. The police officer later informed me that the license plate was trace to another vehicle. Also, the police officer inform me it was probably a drunk driver, however, how come the tracks leading up to where my car was hit were straight on, for over half a block? To my knowledge, the person who was responsible for the damage was never caught.

End of June 2000, my medical pension that I receive from the Canadian Armed Forces for my knee injuries, which I suffered while in the Canadian military, was briefly cut off. When my wife and I confronted the members from the Veteran Affairs office in Calgary, people from this office told my wife and I that this office did not have our home address. How could this be, for a pension advocate from this same office, had been assisting me to fight for my pension since 1997?

In Oct 2000, my wife and I were hit on a sidewalk by a vehicle, as we were walking on the sidewalk. The driver of this vehicle hit my wife and I more than once, until I was able to pound on the hood of this vehicle three times, and reach the front driver’s side door to stop this driver. While I was trying to reach the driver’s side door, my wife was trapped in front of the vehicle, and this driver was revving his engines and had kept going forward. The police officer, who was doing the investigation, asked my wife and I, “What are you doing in this neighborhood, you do not belong here?” There were unethical and unjustified actions were to follow because of this accident, which kept pointing to powerful people out of Red Deer and members of a Religious group, which have power ties into the Neo Conservatives throughout North America.

Also in March 2001, a gentleman who name was Al told my wife and I, “There is a black cloud around you, and I hate to see what would happen to you, if you do not put your book away”. This same gentleman then turned to my wife and told her that she would take her life, after I was dead.

In 2001, as we were traveling from Edmonton to Calgary, a vehicle had come within inches of pushing my wife and mine’s vehicle into the ditch.

Then in September 2001, a fellow writer and a supporter of the Federal Canadian CRAP/Reform Party/New Conservative from Edmonton stated that if you wish not to go to jail, you should put the book away. Also, he wanted me to change the ending of the book and make it a happier ending. No one has the right to dictate to anyone else, what they can or cannot write or say. If the political situation were permitted to rule over the people’s rights, then what I wrote as fictional may actually be an example of when fiction meets with reality.

The above points, plus others actions done against my wife and I, has driven us from our homeland, Canada. However, these unethical actions from few Neo Conservative political spectrum and certain members of Religious groups did not stop there. It continued. Here are just a few brief points below that had happen to my wife and I in the USA.

In March 2003, I was hospitalized with a mysterious disease in a Las Vegas Hospital for duration of two weeks, just days before the Iraqi war. I was in the hospital because my hands, knees, and feet were swollen; also I was vomiting fluids from my stomach, and I had high white blood cell count. At the same time, I had high fever during my stay at the hospital. The Doctors stated that I had Hep C, and then a few days later, I did not have Hep C. One of the Doctors asked my wife if I could have been poisoned. Also, I lost a week of memories of the hospital stay, and it was too painful for me to stand on my feet or walk. I was never told what caused my sickness, where I amassed a medical bill of over $30,000.

Then in May 2003, my wife and I went to a Las Vegas Copyright Agent, who was also a publisher, to copyright my second novel from the 2004 Daemon’s Revenge series, “The Organization” in the US Library of Congress. This manuscript was mail to the Library of Congress, “with a check included”. Then the Library of Congress sent this novel back to this Copyright Agent, with the reason being given that the check had been sent in a different envelope. However, this institution still cashed this check that was dated May 16th 2003. Later the Copyright Agent stated that “She has never seen a novel before in her life cause as much trouble, as what my novel caused.” These were few of the last words that I heard from this Copyright Agent, her company has since folded and there is no forwarding address. When I finally received my copy of my Library of Congress Certificate, it had two dates stamped on it, with the earlier date of May 16th crossed out.

Also, in Sept 2004, I purchased an ad in a Library Magazine that went out to over 17,000 libraries, throughout North America. In this ad, I had contact information and a brief summary of my novel, to my knowledge not one person from any library has contacted my website host or my email and requested more information.

In the earlier part of 2005, shortly after a Father For Justice website from Canada had linked to my website. I was informed by the Webmaster of this website, that he had been hacked and taken over by odd USA Government IP addresses through this website’s server, by use of 403 access. This Webmaster has since regain control of his website.

Also in 2005, a gentleman, who stated he was affiliated with Borders bookstore. This gentleman, also claimed to know people out of Hollywood and other powerful people, was brought in to help with promoting my novel. However, this gentleman kept feeding my wife and I conflicting information, which kept contradicting what we already knew to be true. In addition, this gentleman’s information contradicted what a publishing company out of USA told my wife and I. Every time my wife or I confronted this gentleman, his story kept changing and he denied telling us otherwise. This demonstrated to me that beyond doubt that this gentleman did not have my best interested at heart. Some of last words this gentleman told me were that “If I continue to promote my novels, it would be like kicking me in the teeth.” In addition, this gentleman told me, that my first novel was “officially dead in the water.” Lastly, this gentleman told me “It was not safe for me to go home.” This gentleman is no longer involved with my wife or I, as we have parted our ways. However, this gentleman once again proves that the members of the Neo Conservative do not believe in free enterprise or in freedom of speech.

There are still numerous other points that I have not mentioned, which took place in Canada and USA. Each time it keeps pointing back to a few people from the Extreme political spectrum of Neo Conservatives and certain fanatical members of Western based Religious groups. Out of this one has to question, with the war in Iraqi, could one of the main underlining reasons behind this war possibly be that it may be a modern day Crusade, which was met to be use as a weapon to wipe out one Organized Religion, at a time? Also, with the war on Terrorism, I fully admit that there are terrorists, however, why is the Western World only focusing on Middle Eastern, why aren’t we focusing in on the Western base Fanatics, who preach peace yet show war, who talk about freedoms, and yet they only show oppression? Why aren’t these people being arrested as terrorists? If these people continue to be allowed to get away with their injustices, the only purpose for the anti-terrorist’s laws seem to be to oppress the ordinary people’s rights, which in itself is a direct terrorist attack against the people.

With all of the injustices and oppression that my wife and I have suffered through, we still believe in the rights of the people. Presently, a few members within the Neo Conservative from North America have stripped my wife and I of most of our worldly possession, obliterating our finances, which has created for us an environment where we have no homeland to call our own. This is why I am extending my hand to the Commonwealth and other freedom loving people. As I try to hold onto my birth name’s Blazon of Arm, which goes “The hand is a pledge of Faith, Sincerity and Justice,” then adding into this my mother’s birth family motto of “Hold Fast”. This is what I am trying my best to do, while my wife and I wait for other people from all over the world, who believe solely in Freedom of the people to join us. Remember that democracy is of the people, not few.
