54% of US Soldiers Approve of Iraq War

A small majority of US soldiers, usually a conservative stronghold, support the Iraq War. The rest of them hate America and are putting our troops in danger… oops, sometimes these Bush talking points get caught in my head. Bush’s loss of support from the military is nothing short of startling. I even saw one documentary produced by an Army veteran accusing the Bush administration of staging 9/11 for their own political agenda.

Only once before has a US president faced this much opposition from his own military during a time of war, and it’s hard for anyone to compare poorly against Richard Nixon.
