911 Commission Testimony, May 23, 2003 [5]

The State Department designed U.S. foreign policy to provoke an Islamic attack. The CIA printed copies of the Koran and promoted Islamic Jihad during the Afghan war, the USAID financed Islamic education during the 1980s, and Saudia Arabia, Pakistan, and the CIA financed Islamic radicals during the 1990s. [6] The presence of American troops in Saudi Arabia antagonized Muslims. American television and licentiousness offended their values, and the arrogant exercise of power by U.S. officials fomented resentment among Islamic fundamentalists. [7] Our leaders knew that Islamic radicals would attack the United States, but concealed that fact from the American people. How can I verify that charge? Members of the CFR discussed the coming attack in two government reports.

September 15, 1999: The U.S. Commission on National Security/21st Century released their Phase I Report. Senator Gary Hart (CFR) and Senator Warren Rudman (CFR) co-chaired the meetings; thirteen of the fourteen Commissioners were members of the Council on Foreign Relations. The report discussed the rationale for the coming terrorist attack:

"The growing resentment against Western culture and values in some parts of the world - as well as the fact that others often perceive the United States as exercising its power with arrogance and self-absorption - is breeding a backlash that can take many forms. Terrorism, however, appears to be the most potentially lethal of such forms. Therefore, the United States should assume that it will be a target of terrorist attacks against its homeland using weapons of mass destruction. The United States will be vulnerable to such strikes." [8]

"Notable among these new threats is the prospect of an attack on U.S. cities by independent or state-supported terrorists using weapons of mass destruction. Traditional distinctions between national defense and domestic security will be challenged further as the new century unfolds. . . ." [9]

January 31, 2001: The U.S. Commission on National Security/21st Century released their Phase III Report. It was titled Road Map for National Security: Imperative for Change. The report outlined the program that became The Office of Homeland Security. [10]

January, 2001: The National Commission on Terrorism released a report on "Countering the Changing Threat of International Terrorism." Paul Bremer III (CFR), the former Ambassador for Counterterrorism of the U.S. State Department, and Maurice Sonnenberg, co-chaired the National Commission. Their Executive Summary states:

"Today's terrorists seek to inflict mass casualties, and they are attempting to do so both overseas and on American soil." [11] (page 2, executive summary)

The report discussed the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, and suggested the Japanese succeeded because: "Surprise, when it happens to a government, is likely to be a complicated, diffuse, bureaucratic thing," because of "neglect of responsibility," and "bad luck." [12] The Bush Administration tried to use a similar explanation to justify the government's failure to anticipate and prevent the 9/11 attack. The National Commission's Report states:

"Surprise, when it happens to a government, is likely to be a complicated, diffuse, bureau- cratic thing. It includes neglect of responsibility but also responsibility so poorly defined or so ambiguously delegated that action gets lost. It includes gaps in intelligence, but also intelligence that, like a string of pearls too precious to wear, is too sensitive to give to those who need it. It includes the alarm that fails to work, but also the alarm that has gone off so often it has been disconnected. It includes the unalert watchman, but also the one who knows he'll be chewed out by his superior if he gets higher authority out of bed. It includes the contingencies that occur to no one, but also those that everyone assumes somebody else is taking care of. It includes straightforward procrastination, but also decisions protracted by internal disagreement. . . . Finally, as at Pearl Harbor, surprise may include some measure of genuine novelty introduced by the enemy, and possibly some sheer bad luck. The results, at Pearl Harbor, were sudden, concentrated, and dramatic. The failure, how- ever, was cumulative, widespread, and rather drearily familiar. This is why surprise, when it happens to a government, cannot be described just in terms of startled people. Whether at Pearl Harbor or at the Berlin Wall, surprise is everything involved in a government's (or in an alliance's) failure to anticipate effectively." [13]

The Bush Administration claims the terrorists were successful because the U.S. had faulty intelligence, bad luck, and bureaucratic ineptitude, but that isn't true. Vice President Cheney monitored the flight path of Flight 77, the commercial airliner that crashed into the Pentagon. Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta was in the Presidential Emergency Operating Center with Vice President Cheney as Flight 77 approached Washington, D.C. Secretary Mineta testified:

The U.S. Intelligence Community is the most efficient information-gathering organization in the world. The National Security Administration (NSA) monitors every telephone call, every e-mail, every fax, and every Internet communication; the CIA has undercover agents, assets, and contract agents in foreign countries; the FBI has informants in dissident and patriotic organizations in the United States. [15] Congress reorganized our Intelligence Community in 1995 and 1996 to deal with the terrorist threat. Funding for most of the agencies was increased, thousands of new agents were hired, and contrary to what the public has been told, arrangements were made to share information between the agencies. [16] Some members of the Intelligence Community knew the attack was coming; one of them contacted David Schippers, the former Counsel of the House Impeachment Committee. He was told the attack would be on lower Manhattan in late August or early September. [17] Another agent contacted Dr. Garth Nicolson and told him there would be an attack on the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. [18] David Schippers tried to contact several officials, but they refused to meet with him. [19] Dr.Nicolson notified a high-ranking government official. Neither David Schippers nor Garth Nicolson was asked to testify before the House-Senate Select Intelligence Committee, or the 911 Commission.

Steven Emerson produced a video documentary on Islamic terrorism in 1994; he called it The Terrorists Among Us: Jihad in America. The film showed film footage of Abdullah Azzam addressing a group of Islamic radicals in Oklahoma City in 1988. He called for Jihad (Holy War) in the United States. Our Intelligence Agencies knew there were Islamic terrorist cells in the United States at that time, but didn't intervene. Steven Emerson's video includes an interview with Paul Bremer, the State Department's former Ambassador for Counter Terrorism. He was co-chairman of the National Commission On Terrorism. [20]

Jihad in America was shown only once on PBS in 1994; the video was subsequently suppressed to prevent the public from learning about the growing Islamic threat. [21]

The Bush Administration claims the Intelligence Community didn't know the identity of the hijackers because the FBI couldn't infiltrate the tightly knit Islamic community. [22] Is that true? Six of the terrorists were stopped and interviewed before they boarded their planes on September 11 because they were on a passenger watch list. [23] If the Intelligence Agencies didn't know who the terrorists were, why were six of them "flagged by a computerized airline passenger profiling system?" Two of the hijackers lived with an Islamic FBI informant in Southern California. If our Intelligence Agencies couldn't infiltrate the Islamic community, why did the FBI employ Islamic informants? [24]

When Kristen Breitweiser testified before the Joint House-Senate Select Investigating Committee, she referred to an article published in The New York Times on September 12, the day after the attack:

"On Tuesday, a few hours (emphasis added) after the attacks, FBI agents descended on flight schools, neighborhoods, and restaurants in pursuit of leads. The FBI arrived at Huffman Aviation at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. They walked out with all the school's records, including photocopies of the men's passports.

The New York Times also reported that students at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University said that within hours (emphasis added) of the attacks FBI investigators were seen at their school.

How did the FBI know exactly where to go only a 'few hours' after the attacks? How did they know which neighborhoods, which flight schools, and which restaurants to investigate so soon into the case?

The New York Times went on to report that 'federal agents questioned employees at a store in Bangor, Maine, where five Arab men believed to be the hijackers tried to rent cell phones late last week. . . . '

The article goes on to state, 'the men then phoned Bangor airport trying to get a flight to Boston but were told there was no flight that matched their desired departure time. . . . The men then phoned Portland International JetPort, where two of them apparently made reservations for a flight to Boston on Tuesday morning.'

How would this information be gleaned so quickly? How would the FBI know to visit a store in Bangor, Maine only hours after the attacks. Moreover, how would they know the details of a phone conversation that occurred a week prior to the attacks? Were any of the hijackers already under surveillance? . . .

Furthermore, on September 12, The New York Times reported that 'authorities said they had also identified accomplices in several cities who had helped plan and execute Tuesday's attacks. Officials said they knew who these people were and important biographical details about many of them. They prepared biographies of each identified member of the hijack teams and began tracing the recent movements of the men.'

How were complete biographies of the terrorists and their accomplices created in such short time? Did our intelligence agencies already have open files on these men? Were they already investigating them? Could the attacks of September 11 been prevented?" [25]

How did the FBI know where the hijackers lived, where they took their flight training, their life history, and obtain pictures of them within 48 hours of the attack? How could FBI officials be certain of the hijackers' identities when their bodies hadn't been recovered; they might have used false papers?

If the Intelligence Community couldn't infiltrate the closely knit Islamic movement, how did the Justice Department identify the 1200 Muslims who were arrested immediately after the attack? Several hundred of them are still imprisoned. The Justice Department won't release their names because officials claim they don't want Osama bin Laden to learn their identity. The Justice Department refuses to try the men in court because they don't want Osama bin Laden to know the extent of U.S. surveillance before the 9/11 attack. [26]

How did the Justice Department know the Muslims they arrested were terrorists? Were they monitored before the 9/11 attack? Were they members of Islamic terrorist cells? Did the arrests disrupt the structure of the Islamic terrorist movement in the United States? Is that why there haven't been other significant terrorist attacks in the U.S. since 9/11?

The Bush Administration tried to prevent a Congressional investigation of the 9/11 attack. When their effort failed, the Executive Branch delayed delivery of government documents, withheld most important information, and insisted on censoring the Joint Select Committee Report. [27] The public was told that 28 pages of information about Saudi Arabia was deleted from the report. That's a half-truth. Almost a third of the 900 pages of the Select Committee's Report had information deleted to conceal the truth from the American people. Furthermore, some of the most important testimony wasn't included in the Select Committee's Report. [28]

Intelligence officials testified they knew an attack was imminent, but believed it would be overseas, and didn't suspect the terrorists would use hijacked planes as weapons. That statement is blatantly false.

The U.S. Commission on National Security/21st Century Report was released on September 15, 1999. It described the coming attack on the United States.

The National Commission on Terrorism report confirmed The National Commission on Security's conclusion.

Prior to the attack the FAA and other government agencies sent out "12 Information Circulars (consisting of 35 pages) dealing with "alerts, warnings, emergency rulings, etc. . . . pertaining to transportation (air-lines, etc) from May 2001 through September 15, 2001." The Information Circulars are still "classified" because their release 'would be detrimental to the security of transportation' if disclosed. The Bush Administration doesn't want Osama to discover the content of the Information Circulars sent out by the FAA, and other agencies, prior to the 9/11 attack. [29]

The CIA briefed President Bush on August 6, 2001, and told him Islamic terrorists planned to hijack U.S. commercial airliners; the remainder of the briefing remains classified. [30]

On September 7, 2001, the U.S. State Department issued a worldwide alert warning about a likely terrorist attack on American military bases or embassies in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. If U.S. officials expected an attack overseas, why were U.S. bases placed on alert? [31]

Did U.S. officials know that terrorists planned to attack the U.S.? Insight magazine listed some of the warnings U.S. Intelligence Agencies received before the 9/11 attack:

March 2001: The Italian government shared "general" information of possible attacks based on bugs in apartments in Milan.

May 2001: An Iranian in custody in New York City told local police about a plot to attack the World Trade Center.

June 2001: German intelligence alerted the CIA, Britain's MI-6 intelligence service and Israel's Mossad that Middle Eastern terrorists were training for hijackings and targeting American and Israeli interests.

July 2001: Indian intelligence shared general information.

August 2001: Based on its own intelligence, the Israeli government provided "general" information to the United States in the second week of August that an al-Qaeda attack was imminent.

French intelligence echoed the "general" information in the final week of August.

Summer of 2001: Russian President Vladimir Putin . . . ordered his intelligence agencies to alert the United States that suicide pilots were training for attacks on U.S. targets. [32]

"Little I know about him, but I've heard that his life was clean. I am told that because of his teachings men hated this Nazarene. Those who are called his apostles still fear what the mob may do, So I ask your august permission to care for a fellow Jew."

And Pilate who trusted Joseph and honored him, promptly said: "I will give you a guard of soldiers. Go now and bury the dead." Thus strangely is history fashioned. From one kindly deed there came To the rich man of Arimathea eternal glory and fame. [33]

Joseph of Arimathea risked everything he possessed to do what he knew was right. At this time in history, when there is a conspiracy against God, can we do less?

American Airlines Flight 77 was hijacked enroute from Washington DC to Los Angeles CA with 64 on board.

It crashed into the Pentagon HQ for US Department of War, killing approximately 200 on the ground. US Air Force personnel were not among the dead. Despite a 45 minute warning, allegedly no Air Force fighters intercepted the doomed airliner, even if only to ascertain its location and transmit altitude info and heading, since its altitude transponder was switched off and it was intentionally flying below the level of radar.

AA77 slammed the Pentagon at over 350 mph, damaging 30% of "the world's largest office building". It hit exactly where the $250-million renovations well scheduled to be reopened next month. Ordinarily there would have been 5,000 employees on duty at the crash site.

Jim Hoffman has discovered a document which I believe may be very important to the 911 skeptic movement. This document superseded earlier DOD procedures for dealing with hijacked aircraft, and it requires that Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld is personally responsible for issuing intercept orders. Commanders in the field are stripped of all authority to act. This amazing order came from S.A. Fry (Vice Admiral, US Navy and Director, Joint Staff) so it appears to me that responsibility for the US armed forces "Failure to Respond" rests directly with Fry for issuing this instruction, as well as with Donald Rumsfeld for failing to execute his responsibility to issue orders in a timely fashion.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instruction CJCSI 3610.01A (dated 1 June 2001) was issued for the purpose of providing "guidance to the Deputy Director for Operations (DDO), National Military Command Center (NMCC), and operational commanders in the event of an aircraft piracy (hijacking) or request for destruction of derelict airborne objects." This new instruction superseded CJCSI 3610.01 of 31 July 1997.

This CJCSI states that "In the event of a hijacking, the NMCC will be notified by the most expeditious means by the FAA. The NMCC will, with the exception of immediate responses as authorized by reference d, forward requests for DOD assistance to the Secretary of Defense for approval."

Reference D refers to Department of Defense Directive 3025.15 (Feb. 18, 1997) which allows for commanders in the field to provide assistance to save lives in an emergency situation -- BUT any requests involving "potentially lethal support" (including "combat and tactical vehicles, vessels or aircraft; or ammunition") must still be approved by the Secretary of Defense. So again, the ability to respond to a hijacking in any meaningful fashion, is stripped from the commanders in the field.

While none of this relieves the Bush Administration from ultimate responsibility from 911, nevertheless there is the possibility that this discovery could somewhat diffuse the power of our movement's message about the "Stand Down", since it is now clear that it was implemented through a routine administrative memo.

If this comes up as an issue at the Washington 911 cover-up commission, it would be interesting if Fry could testify as to the reasoning behind making it bureaucratically impossible for the DOD to respond to hijackings in a timely fashion.

An officer of NORAD, who doesn't know that there is a conspiracy going on, or who didn't want to get into it, has sent fighters to intercept the two others hijacked planes (flight 93 and flight 77). As the evidences that flight 77 didn't crash on the pentagon and that flight 93 was shot down take more and more importance in the media, George Bush and his team want to maintain their official version of the facts, stacking bullshit over bullshit, just to the point where it represents now a huge heap.

Someone must be monitoring your site. Today for the first time, The Pentagon has felt it had to show pictures of a plane ramming their building.

I taped it, as Wolf Blitzer was showing Jamie McIntire's Pentagon pictures allegedly taken off a Pentagon camera. I put it on slow motion and saw no plane. Not only that, it has been 'messed' with. It shows clips. It looks like 3 clips. The same pictures, or shots with Jamie McIntire were shown next on the Moneyline show. The same questions asked with the same answers. Jamie pointing to where you're supposed to see a plane coming along the ground about 2 feet above the ground before it hits the Pentagon. I have yet to see a plane. If there is one, there certainly is not a passenger plane. What it looks like to me is a release of material before an explosion. Like the pressure couldn't hold it any more and spewed it out. This film must have just been doctored for our use. There is no plane in the film. There is not even a semblence of a plane. There only remains the lie.

WASHINGTON — A series of photos has surfaced that show the moment a hijacked American Airlines plane slammed into the Pentagon last Sept. 11.

The photos were taken by a surveillance camera positioned north of the section of the Pentagon destroyed by the impact and the resulting explosion and fire.

The images cover a span of four one-hundredths of a second. The first photo shows a small, blurry white object near the upper right corner — possibly the plane just a few feet above the ground. The second shows a white glow immediately after the impact. In the remaining photos, a mountain of orange fire and black smoke rises above the building.

The photographs were not officially released by the Pentagon, but officials said the images were authentic and had been provided to law enforcement officials investigating the attack. The photographs were obtained Thursday by The Associated Press and other news organizations.

Officials could not immediately explain why the date typed near the bottom of each photograph is Sept. 12 and the time is written as 5:37 p.m. The attack happened at about 9:37 a.m. on Sept. 11. Officials said it was possible that the date and time were added the day after the attack when they may have been catalogued for investigative purposes.

Workers May Have Pentagon Repaired by Sept. 11 Next Year

Workers are rebuilding the Pentagon so quickly that by Sept. 11, Defense Department employees may be working at the spot where a hijacked airliner crashed into the building a year earlier.

"We want them sitting at their desks, doing their work" on the anniversary of the attack, said Walker Lee Evey, program manager of the restoration project.

The back-in-business symbolism of that image inspires hundreds of workers laboring long hours to restore the Pentagon's western flank and the offices inside. So far, the project is months ahead of schedule, Evey said.

"They have tremendous motivation," Evey said Thursday. "Some lost family members" in the crash."

"The Phoenix Project" is already rising fast, but Evey is careful to say that the work will be far from finished by the tragedy's anniversary [ named for Operation Phoenix - Pentagon/CIA's infamous assassination operation during Vietnam War that murdered 60,000 of America's allies and has now resurrected to mass-murder Americans on american soil ].

Unlike the outermost "E Ring," home to the offices of the most senior Defense Department employees, the "C" and "D" rings that also were damaged will likely not be completed by Sept. 11, he said.

That could happen as early as next year, when the new facade will blend seamlessly with the original, near an outdoor memorial planned by the Army Corps of Engineers.

Evidence of recovery has edged out signs of disaster.

Gone from the western flank is the jagged hole of blackened concrete ripped open by a rogue jetliner traveling 350 mph, six feet above the ground . In its place is a 100-yard-wide rectangular gap partly filled with five stories of floors in various states of construction. Looming overhead are two 140-foot-tall cranes.

Pentagon officials did not predict such quick progress given the damage and the unique challenges facing rebuilders of the massive building.

American Airlines Flight 77 and its 20,000 gallons of fuel spread destruction, fire and death over 2 million square feet, killing 189 people in the plane and on the ground.

The fire was so hot, Evey said, that it turned window glass to liquid and sent it spilling down walls into puddles on the ground. The impact cracked massive concrete columns far beyond the impact site, destabilizing a broader section of the building than contractors had originally thought.

Several challenges confronted the contractors. Poisonous mold in kaleidoscopic colors climbed the interior walls, fed by millions of gallons of water that had been sprayed at the fire over two days. Gloved, gas-masked workers pumped hot, dry air trough the windows to remove it.

New security measures — from fortifying the structure's windows and walls to improving air flow, sprinklers and escape routes — drove up the price from around $700 million to about $740 million, Evey said. [ Original expense to build the entire Pentagon during World War 2 was $50-million. ]

And a few employees faced, then cleared, the more personal hurdle of putting a grinding sadness behind them and digging into the renovation.

"Sept. 11 was Sept. 11; It's in the past," Evey said. "Our eyes are all on the future."

A month and a day after demolition began on Oct. 18, workers had cleared a huge rectangular hole down to the concrete floor four weeks ahead of schedule. They filled spiral support columns with concrete to strengthen the structure against future attacks. Workers are now completing the fifth and final floor and preparing to begin work making the new exterior walls match the originals, Evey said.

Of the 4,600 Pentagon workers who were displaced by the attack, some 1,500 are back in their offices while others work elsewhere in the Pentagon or in rented space.

Hijack 'suspects' alive and well

Another of the men named by the FBI as a hijacker in the suicide attacks on Washington and New York has turned up alive and well.

The identities of four of the 19 suspects accused of having carried out the attacks are now in doubt.

Saudi Arabian pilot Waleed Al Shehri was one of five men that the FBI said had deliberately crashed American Airlines flight 11 into the World Trade Centre on 11 September.

His photograph was released, and has since appeared in newspapers and on television around the world.

Now he is protesting his innocence from Casablanca, Morocco.

He told journalists there that he had nothing to do with the attacks on New York and Washington, and had been in Morocco when they happened. He has contacted both the Saudi and American authorities, according to Saudi press reports.

He acknowledges that he attended flight training school at Dayton Beach in the United States, and is indeed the same Waleed Al Shehri to whom the FBI has been referring.

But, he says, he left the United States in September last year, became a pilot with Saudi Arabian airlines and is currently on a further training course in Morocco.

Mistaken identity

Abdulaziz Al Omari , another of the Flight 11 hijack suspects, has also been quoted in Arab news reports.

He says he is an engineer with Saudi Telecoms, and that he lost his passport while studying in Denver.

Another man with exactly the same name surfaced on the pages of the English-language Arab News.

The second Abdulaziz Al Omari is a pilot for Saudi Arabian Airlines, the report says.

Meanwhile, Asharq Al Awsat newspaper, a London-based Arabic daily, says it has interviewed Saeed Alghamdi .

He was listed by the FBI as a hijacker in the United flight that crashed in Pennsylvania.

And there are suggestions that another suspect, Khalid Al Midhar [ AA77 that allegedly hit Pentagon ], may also be alive.

FBI Director Robert Mueller acknowledged on Thursday that the identity of several of the suicide hijackers is in doubt.

[9/11-Pentagon] Appalling French Expertise

Photographs speak for themselves. We all see horror in the photos of the 9/11 attacks. But let's look closer and horror might grow bigger. Photographs may tell a different story, it might only be a matter of expertise.

The French journalist Thierry Meyssan had much success with his book about 9/11 (1). Among his assertions : the fact that no Boeing crashed on the Pentagon became quite famous. Surprisingly, all the French newspapers, led by "Le Monde", grimly denied it. Some got their own expert to explain why the flight 77 did crash on the Pentagon. Who's right ?

Here, I will try to explain why this question is relevant and why I believe that no expert gave us decent explanations.

Back to 9/11, the flight 77 allegedly crashed on the Pentagon at 9:37 am. The building section collapsed about 30 minutes later. During these 30 minutes photographs were taken by officials, journalists or passers-by (3)(15). After a close look at these photos, everyone should admit that almost no debris of the plane are visible and that there is very few damage to the building.

The only alleged Boeing debris shown on a photo do not exhibit the normal American Airlines paintings, some said it comes from an helicopter. The other visible debris are too small and too few compared to the 60 tons plane. Some argued that the metal evaporated or burned into smokes. Impossible. Furthermore photos show that there was almost no fire outside of the building. Cars and wire bundles close to the impact point blackened but remained.

So the whole plane got into the building. From the different photos available we can almost inspect the whole bulging section. No big hole is visible ! Some graphic artist assembled these photos into a single reconstructed photo and add a virtual Boeing 757 in the front (5). The result is astonishing, it's hard to figure how the big plane got through.

So hard to figure out that the French crash expert : François Grangier admitted that no plane went by (we'll detail this comment later).

So French medias seeked experts to build up comfortable theories compatible with these photos. We'll see six theories :

  4. The fatal angle theory
  5. The hollow aircraft theory
  6. The blue pill theory

The dumb theory

Internet conveyed many dumb theories (but we still love Internet, don't we ?). Let's choose the web site closest to the mainstream medias : hoaxbuster.com. This site is dedicated to hoax bombing ! They're rougher than they say, many of their assertions are blatantly false.

Let's look at this one : As Meyssan argued that the 38 meters (124 ft) wingspan should have largely impacted the Pentagon, hoax buster tried to explain why it shouldn't (7):

Of course, Paul Boutin and Patrick Di Justo did not say that, at least if they are real researchers. This is simple geometry. Our own shadow casted by the sun is taller than us. For the same reason, the casted width of the wingspan on the building is bigger, 40% bigger (8).

The leaden aircraft theory

This theory was exposed in the "Le Monde" newspaper by an anonymous expert (6). He tried to explain that the energy of the impact was so big that the plane had to pierce the wall. Note that we could also build the "unpierceable theory" arguing that the wall was recently strengthened with bullet-proof Kevlar (12). The funny part of this anonymous expert's calculus is that he was not able to compute the kinetic energy of the plane. He got the right formula but choose the wrong figure.

This is easy to prove. He was mistaken about the weight (mass) of the plane. He wrote " A 115 tons plane loaded with 75 tons of fuel". We can see that he considered a total weight of 190 tons because he wrote later that, at the speed of 560 km/h, the energy is 2 millions of KJ, more precisely a mass of 190 tons leads to an energy of 2.3 GJ.

The maximum takeoff weight of a Boeing 757-200 is 115 tons (9). So the 190 tons expert's plane couldn't take off !

In fact, the empty weight of the plane is about 60 tons. As fuel was already burned I guess the total weight was 80 to 90 tons.

The cormorant theory

The same anonymous expert of the "Le Monde" newspaper (6) wrote : " The plane penetrated the Pentagon, like an arrow (...) piercing three successive buildings". The expert François Grangier, who is closer to the "unpierceable theory", compares the plane to a cardboard tube (4), which seems more relevant (13). Anyway, I hope anyone will understand that planes are designed to pierce air rather than Kevlar-concrete sandwiches.

However, even if the plane acted like an arrow, experts still had to explain how the wings (and the engines) got in ? Some argued that the wings folded back along the fuselage. Jacques Rolland, allegedly one of the best French aircraft crash expert, said : " [The wings] teared off the fuselage and gathered as a result of speed" (4). Thierry Meyssan replied : " as a result of kinetic energy, broken wings were more likely to go forward (not backward) and hit the building" (2).

Of course the crash of a Boeing on a concrete wall can't be compared to a cormorant's dive in the sea. And debris did not vanish like feathers in the wind.

The fatal angle theory

The same "one of best experts" Jacques Rolland, is also a former French air force general and a former military jet pilot. Here's my report of a "little physics lecture" he gave (4) :

There are two type of angles : the [explosives] and the [implosives]

The angle is [explosive] when the plane crashes while skimming the obstacle, for example when a plane crashes on the ground while still flying and maintaining a low angle with the floor (flat dive). In such a case, the plane bounces, breaks up and dismantles. There are many scattered debris. Angles are [explosives] when less than 45 degrees.

The angle is [implosive] if greater than 45 degrees. Jacques Rolland describes the case of a military fighter jet aircraft diving vertically in the ground : In that case, the aircraft folds upon itself into a small crater. There is almost no recognizable part of the plane left.

Jacques Rolland evaluates "the angle of the Boeing with the impacted surface [Pentagon front wall] to about 80 degrees, this angle forbids any rebound, the plane penetrates the obstacle while making a crater".

Well done ! Unfortunately, Mr. Jacques Rolland the angle was not 80 degrees but 45 degrees ! This is widely admitted even if some wrongly said that the plane hit perpendicular to the building (14).

So the angle is neither [implosive] nor [explosive] ! This theory gives us no information on the 9/11 crash but quite a few on Jacques Rolland.

The hollow aircraft theory

Jean-Vincent Brisset, a French air force general, explains : " To speak simply, such a shock changes the plane into a hollow-charge ammunition, producing a fire jet stream. As soon as it impacts, the plane disintegrates and burns while penetrating in the hole it dug. I talked to several specialists, held by professional secrecy, there is no doubt for anyone".

Humm. Imagine you are in front of these respectable military officials, they are all saying the plane acted like an anti-tank rocket, you would hardly deny! Fortunately, you're only in front of a harmless computer. So let's think !

What is an hollow-charge ammunition ? "Charge" stands for "explosive charge" and hollow describes the hollow shape of the explosive. In English these ammunitions are more often called shaped-charge(10). The devastating power of this ammunition is a result of the way it explodes. It can be laid on the target like a mine, or brought to the target with a rocket.

A "non-shaped" explosive disperse its explosion gases in all directions. A shaped-charge will concentrate the gases in a single narrow direction, making a fire jet stream, a very thin and powerful jet of fire. Now, metal is added to the charge to create a more devastating plasma jet piercing armors and setting fire inside.

How the explosion gases are concentrated into a jet stream (10) ? It depends on the shape of the explosive. One possible shape is a cone. Explosive is laid in a uniform layer inside a solid cone. When the explosion occurs, gases go towards the cone axis (center). As the construction is symmetrical, when the gases reach the cone axis they meet the opposite gas stream from the other side. Thus, gases velocities in the plane perpendicular to the cone axis neutralize in heat. The only velocities left are along the cone axis, creating a forceful plasma jet stream.

So what is the connection between a hollow-charge ammunition and a hollow aircraft ? Only a word connection.

This is the most appalling expertise.

The blue pill theory

François Grangier is the usual French TV aircraft crash expert. So he was interviewed (11) :

Quote start << François Grangier : When we see this almost intact Pentagon front wall, we can be sure that no plane went through. It should be clear that such a big plane cannot fly through a window and let the framing on. If there was a plane, it obviously crashed elsewhere.

Daphné Roulier [speaker] : So a Boeing 757 would have made much more damages. You agree with Thierry Meyssan ?

François Grangier : On the front wall, yes. But I don't see the importance of it. (...) You shouldn't conclude to conspiracy when there's only incompetence. How did the plane crashed and why did it crash ? We don't care at all. >> Quote end

So there's no plane and no conspiracy !

Francois Grangier will clarify his thought later (4) : " I think that the trajectory of the plane as we can distinguish it today, do not allow us to conclude to a crash on the front wall, but more likely on the roof ".

Strange ! Why did Francois Grangier deny in the end the rational approach he always had ? Of course the impact was on the wall ! Why did he suddenly shift to nonsense ?

Francois Grangier fled from the horrifying truth. He took the blue pill and woke up with the vision of a plane in the Pentagon's roof.
