What a novel idea, now I can keep an eye on my kids while they are at school and insure they are where they are supposed to be. Every parent should hail this as a boon to preventive discipline.

I’m looking forward to seeing this implemented nation-wide as a legal mandate.

I gps track my son and I live with piece of mind, you idiots if a tragedy ever happens ( I truly hope it doesn't) with your children being list, you would give anything to go back in time to use a tracking device. RFID is to go into backpacks, not lunch bags to the doof who can not read. i can't count the number of times i misplaced my school bag as a child. i just don't see the justification here. if a school is having trouble keeping track of children, maybe RFID is not the solution. also, you just added another layer of management to already stressed out teachers. now they must make sure everyone has their chip… haha. i just don't see this flying. go ACLU!!!
