i am not a happy person let me start with my great nefew he had just turned two years old in jan.of 07 and on feb,23 07 he was murderd by his moms new boyfriend and he got a lousey 12 years and only has to serve 10 of them years now my son burglerized two homes whitch i am not proud of but he did not hurt any one doing it he also admitted to doing it too so the police would not have to work hard on the cases any way he was sentens to 12 years for that and has to serve 5 in a half years for that what i want to know is how can a child murderer get the same as a burgler i dont think my son should have gotton that much time reason number one is when he was younger i lost my husband and was liveing in tenn and i asked for some help from the athority and the state of tenn took him from me did not give him back to me till he was 17 i was illinios by this time and when tenn gave him back to me il automaticly put him on parole and he had never ever been in jail or not even on probation il told me when they are transfered from one state to another they put them on parole my son started hanging out with the wrong croud and got into some trouble and he was put in prison at the age of 18 from that time on he has been in prison now i ask how do the state and or the goverment expect some one that has never been out on the street to make it all these kids need is a little help from them not be locked up all they know is to still they cannot get jobs with a parole record people wont even give him a chance to prove he can change so that is when he fells he needs to steal from others to make a living i guess what i am saying is i need some back up on the ones that are in prison for stealing so they can get help and try to get help to go to school and or collage and guidence they would make a difference in these kind of people please help fight with the way they sentenceing of this system now about the man who killed my great nefew i think he should have gotton more time for what he did because he did kill some one and that baby got his little life taken from him he could have grew up being some one important but no he cant because the man who killed him seen to that he wouldnt live to see what he would have or could have been when he grew up i think if my son would have killed some one he would have gotton a way with it right every one reading this knows i am right i know i am because the system really sucks today

i’ve read your article on VA as a born resident of the state,i must refer those readers of this article in relations to VA to the most recent efforts of the present governor and more to the point sen webb’s reform efforts, they did not start with the down fall of the economy.they did start with VIRGINIA, another thing how can this issue be discussed omitting RACE,now that’s really buring your head in the sand,WE DID WAKE UP IN AMERICA RIGHT its tough i know but its a big pot and its all part of the stew.
