Now they have really done it. No one should mess with the Veterans' Health Care
If this is allowed to happen we will have a mess in our hands. Who would like to serve for a country that does not care for their soldiers?
Now more than ever John McCain cannot be elected the next U.S. president when wounded veterans could be in for a world of hurt.
This analysis by Aaron Glantz is certainly an eye opener for all citizens. It is good that these facts have being brought to the table of discussion. How Mr. Montel Williams does feels about this news? The problem that he is a public figure and his show still is going on the air. .
The Senator McCain is proposing making the system unreachable. The same kind of services they offer in Puerto Rico at the Veteran Hospital in San Juan. How many conditions will they fall under the non-combat medical problems?
Yes we should find a better answer that "We need to relieve the burden on the VA from routine health care." He can say that because he is a senator but not everybody has chosen to do that line of work. This is a lesson for the veterans to wake up to the mentality of someone who tried to use the “Psychological label and call the citizens whiners.” Welcome to the van wagon. To think that the Disability Community has gained Rights because of the Veterans push. That power is here by this news gone. McCain does not have a notion of the work at the Veteran Hospital. There is no care for Veterans or love for their wounds of war.
This is not the answer to veterans who have gained this privilege. Who would like to go to war for this anymore? He needs to know what is going on in Puerto Rico and many other territories of the United States to make a general idea. Puerto Rico does not obey the ADA Law.
I believe that all veterans groups should oppose to McCain's plan. Maybe the Senator McCain is going thru a Psychological moment thanks to his experience as a former naval officer, prisoner of war, and Vietnam War veteran.
I hope that the veterans will claim the answers because they should not be left out in the cold. There should be more Mr. Richard Klass out there to speak out. I see that the record speaks against him by itself.
