BBC will ignore 9/11 hit piece for 9 months

Following on from recent communication between the BBC and a British physicist planning to sue the corporation for ‘mass public deception’, the BBC have responded by pushing back the complaint investigation procedure, buying themselves more time in the hope the issue will be forgotten about.

However, as the BBC are a global corporation reaching billions around the world and called on many leading 9/11 researchers to help make the programme, only to present a distorted view of their evidence, the global 9/11 truth movement is not letting the issue go.

The latest letter from the BBC states the Editorial Standards Committee (ESC) had been scheduled to look at this matter in detail during a meeting in September but due to “a large number of complaints”, they expect the issue to be pushed back to a meeting on the 2nd October, almost a full 9 months after originally being aired on BBC2.

There is a current tidal-wave of complaints at the BBC and mounting pressure for the corporation to revise its editorial practices as serious breaches were found in many of its programmes.

Public trust in the BBC has fallen and while the mainstream media are ignoring 9/11 evidence for the moment, the 9/1 truth movement is gathering momentum at an astonishing rate, that will ensure the issue will not be dropped.

One of the scientists who appeared in the programme, and founder of the Scholars for 9/11 Truth group, Professor Jim Fetzer said to RINF: “Guy Smith and Kenneth Payne interviewed me for some eight hours but only used seven-and-a-half minutes on the air. I advanced dozens of arguments against the official account but they were highly selective and only presented perhaps one-and-a-half.

“It might be worthwhile to suggest the BBC review the footage and the process of selection that was employed, which would reveal that this was a “hit piece” intended to discredit students of 9/11 for holding views the government wants to suppress, not because they are false but politically threatening.

“The objective of the programme does not appear to have been to probe our reasons for rejecting the official account (on the basis of logic and evidence) but to provide an opportunity for others to appeal to their conception of psychology to explain why we need conspiracy theories as security blankets to make us more comfortable with the situation that we encountered on 9/11. How anyone finds comfort from the realization our own government has been killing our fellow citizens was never made clear. Indeed, the basic premise of this special verges on absurdity!” he said.

Many methods of action are being taken to expose the BBC, with some gaining a lot of success such as the recent ‘9/11 and the British Broadcasting Conspiracy’, a rebuttal documentary receiving around half a million views on Google Video since being released only weeks ago.
